Monday Night MatchupFor the second week in a row the AFC East will be represented on Monday Night Football when the Dallas Cowboys take on the Buffalo Bills. And for a second week in a row, the matchup on paper looks to be very one-sided. The Cowboys come into the game ranked #1 in the NFL in points per game (37.8) and yards per game (440.8), while the Bills defense ranks 22nd in points per game (23.2) and #32 in yards per game (430.5). So unless the Bills offense morphs into the famed K-Gun offense of the early 90s, they will need the defense to step up, force some turnovers and hold the Boys to more field goals than touchdowns. The offense needs to take care of the ball, as any turnover is an invitation to the Cowboys offense to put up 7 points in a hurry. A key to tonights game could be punter Brian Moorman and his ability to push the Dallas offense deep into its own territory with his kicks. If he can put Dallas 90 yards away from the end zone it will greatly help the defense keep the score low enough for the offense to match. And in a bit of good news to fans watching the game, the Bills will be wearing their throwback uniforms tonight, which is always a plus. The Bills will need a lot of breaks to go their way tonight, or else it could be a very, very long night at the hands of the Cowboys once again.
