Scandal of the Century! As I’m sure you’ve heard already, the NFL is looking into allegations that the Patriots used a camera on the sidelines of Sunday’s game, a violation of NFL policy. Well, I’ve been keeping close tabs on this story and, through an unnamed source with close ties to the Patriots organization, I’ve been able to obtain a copy of a front office memo that offers several possible “spin campaigns” to keep the team’s name out of the mud. While I don’t think these will hold up in The Honorable Roger Goodell’s Court of Law, they are worth a shot. -They were just filming scenes for the new sitcom “How I Met Your Defensive Coordinator” -It wasn’t a camera, it was a corrective lense for an employee who is severely near-sighted -They were getting footage for the “NFL Coaches Gone Wild!” video -A candid camera stunt gone horribly wrong -Cameraman worked for HBO, working on the ‘Sopranos’ spin-off starring Eric Mangini -Well, it beats CBS’s coverage of the game -He was totally checking out the hottie in row C, man -They were just scouting coaching fashion in hopes of making over Bill Belichick’s wardrobe You Need to Read: Hooray Pats and Bills! The Patriots suck. They are the Yankees of football AND they cheat.
What a dumbass comment. No such thing as Yankees of football. They cannot buy their way to a championship. The thing I’m most p-ssed off about is Belichick subjecting his players who work their butts off to this idiotic drivel.
Wow Ron! Did you think up that whole thought all by yourself? It’s so original. Your parents must be so proud…
The Patriots have always been cheaters…from snow blowing the field to opposing team’s locker room “power outages” to this…it’s nothing new….I just don’t know how they get away with it so much.
wah wah wah , you guys are the real cry babies, im a dolphins fan and i dont care, nothing was going to stop randy moss from tearing up a crappy jets team
What a bunch of whining losers you people are. Teams don’t lose because of stolen defensive signals. And don’t be nieve…Mangini himself engages in the same “cheating” when he “interviews” players who leave the Patriots. And do you think Brian Daboll didn’t walk away with Patriot playbooks? Why did Mangini keep his playbook under lock and key?
