Hot Days, Hot Women and Other AFC East NewsJets CB Justin Miller has missed another practice due to his pulled hamstring, and the impression is that he’ll be gone for more than just a couple of days. While no one on the team really knows what’s happening or how it’s going to turn out, there is optimism on all sides as everyone wishes Miller a speedy recovery. Unfortunately, this hurts their kickoff returner and cornerback capabilities, so don’t be surprised if they bring in another party. The Jets also had an interesting announcement to make: the “Jets Flight Crew” has been created. A 10-member flag crew, the flight crew will perform at home games. The organizer, Denise Garvey, is a former Knicks City dancer and Cowboys cheerleader. Phins DT Keith “Truck” Traylor has been considering retirement after his 16th season. LB Channing Crowder has worked hard to keep Truck on the team, and has reportedly taken Truck out fishing over a dozen times over the course of the last two weeks in a effort to try and sway him. We’ll have to see how this develops. And the Bills are feeling a little let down as CB Ashton Youboty has continued to offer a dismal performance.
