Belichick May Retire And Other AFC East News

I scoff at the idea of Belichick chasing the money and leaving the Patriots after his contract is up this season, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he retired. Os points out that he may have convinced the front office to go after the big name free agents this year to make “one last push” for the Lombardi.

Former Jet and Patriot (and current Chief) Ty Law says he’s finally recovered from the foot injury that sidelined him 3 years ago.

Jabar Gaffney continues to impress the media at the Patriots’ training camp. There are two quick blurbs about impressive plays he made here and here.

The word out of Jets’ camp is that D’Brickashaw Ferguson is noticeably bigger and stronger for his second NFL season. We’ll see if that translates into more sacks for the DL.
