A Tough Year

Judging by the strength of each team’s schedule, it’s going to be a tough year for all the teams in the AFC East!

I stumbled across this 2007 strength of schedule cheat sheet and was amazed to see ALL of the AFC East teams are in the top 10. Here are each team’s rank as well as their opponents combined win percentage in 2006.

1. Buffalo Bills (.539)

3. New England Patriots (.535)

7. New York Jets (.516)

9. Miami Dolphins (.512)

As far as I can tell, no other division has tougher match ups. This is great news for fans because it means we’ll have great games to watch every week!

It’s also worth noting that the Bills’ opponents have the highest win percentage, they play the most playoff teams, and they play the most teams that finished above .500 last year. That’s the triple crown, but in a bad way. It will be a miracle if Jauron can get his team seven wins again this year.
