The Cost Of Wins

Several other people are having fun with the player salary data that USA Today released. This is one of the more interesting metrics I’ve seen, which computes how much some teams paid for each of their wins last season. I decided to figure out how much the AFC East teams spent for each win last year:

The Patriots spent $7,507,892 per win.

The Jets spent $8,614,583 per win.

The Bills spent $11,560,616 per win.

The Dolphins spent $16,276,700 per win.

I think this is a great metric to see how your team’s front office is managing their money.
