Five Bills To WatchLarry Felser of the The Buffalo News has an article highlighting 5 Bills To Watch in 2007. Here’s a quick summary: LB Paul Posluszny: Posluszny is a highly-touted rookie out of Penn State and his abilities will be tested right out of the gate with the Bills’ tough early schedule. We should have a good idea how Posluszny is against the run after week 3 (first three games: Denver, Pittsburgh, and New England). Another young player, another great name. G Derrick Dockery: This was the Bills’ biggest free agent signing of the offseason, and we’ll have to see if he can give Losman better protection (47 sacks in 2006) and help push the pile for the Bills’ new RBs. TE Kevin Everett: With only one reception his entire career, it’s tough to say how this former University of Miami standout will perform. QB JP Losman: It’s tough to make a “players to watch” list for any team without mentioning the QB, but this is especially true of the Bills and JP Losman. After being handed the franchise in the middle of the 2005 season, Losman has shown improvement, but hasn’t been consistent. If Losman doesn’t make the jump this year (after the team made significant upgrades to the offensive line) it may be time to start considering the alternatives.
